Charity Valentine’s Evening

Superb Valentine’s charity night for all the family

On Saturday 10 February, a Charity Valentine’s Evening will take place in Bognor Regis, with all proceeds being donated to the National Autistic Society.

The evening will be at The Rowland Rank Centre on the Aldwick Road between 7pm and 10.30pm and is for the whole family.
The event is organised by local residents; brother and sister Nigel and Nicola Fitzsimmons. Nicola said:

“We’ll stop at nothing to support the cause we’re so passionate about. Within a year, we have completed first the Bognor Prom 10km race, followed by our first Half Marathon in Bournemouth in October last year.

“On 22 April, supporting the National Autistic Society and running as part of #TeamAutism, we’ll take on the iconic London Marathon. We want to raise as much money for NAS to help them continue their excellent work and research in the world of autism – a subject close to our hearts for very personal reasons.”

Nigel said:
“We’re so excited about this night and a lot of hard work has gone into making things happen. We have a glass of fizz (or soft drink) on arrival, buffet nibbles, a raffle with some amazing prizes and music throughout the night. People are encouraged to bring drinks for their own tables, so there’s no expensive bar when you’re there!

“We can also now reveal that classic rock band ‘Hot ‘n’ Sticky’ are playing for us, with covers from Queen, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Journey, Metallica and more! From the soft to the heavy and from the 70s to the 90s. It’s going to be amazing.”
Hot ‘n’ sticky describe themselves as having ‘fast riffs, thundering bass and 4-part vocal harmonies higher than your cholesterol! Clad in spandex with better hair than ya mum!’

Nicola and Nigel are urging people to buy tickets and not to miss what will be a fantastic night with subsidised ticket prices and for such a great cause. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be sold on the door. Hurry as places are limited – once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Tickets are just £12.50 for adults or £30 for a family ticket (up to 4 people – max. 2 adults). Additional child tickets are £5 (up to and incl. age 14 years).
